Introducing Herbology 101: Begin Your Herbal Path

Herbal learning is a journey, and every journey needs a place to begin. That is why I created Herbology 101: The Herbal Path—a beginner-friendly, self-paced home-study course designed to help you build a strong foundation in herbalism one step at a time.

What You’ll Learn in Herbology 101

Throughout 20 guided lessons, you’ll learn how to better understand the herbs you work with—from botanical identification, plant parts, and herbal actions to preparation methods, safety, energetics, constituents, and formulation. You’ll also explore how to make and understand herbal teas, tinctures, glycerites, capsules, syrups, infused oils, salves, and balms.

Learn at Your Own Pace

Herbology 101 is designed to fit into your life. There are no scheduled class times, so you can move through the lessons at your own pace, giving yourself time to read, practice, research, and become more familiar with the herbs you study. Each lesson includes practical learning activities and an assessment to help you apply what you are learning—not simply memorize information.

A Course Built Around Thoughtful Herbal Learning

At Nature’s Crossing, herbal education is about more than learning what an herb is “good for.” It is about understanding the plant, how it is traditionally prepared, how different herbs work together, and why safety and individual needs matter. Herbology 101 was created to help you begin developing that deeper understanding while building confidence through hands-on learning.

Special Introductory Enrollment

To celebrate the launch of Herbology 101, enrollment is currently available for a special introductory price of $49. This is a one-time payment and gives you access to the complete 20-lesson course, hands-on practice activities, lesson assessments, the Final Assessment, and a Certificate of Completion after successfully completing the course.
